Jan Adam Gallina was a Czech composer. He came from Cítoliby near the town of Louny.
He was born into a family of a cantor and organist Martin Antonín Gallina and his wife Marie Františka. Since 1744 he was a musician at the castle in Cítoliby under the count Arnošt Karel Pachta. While playing at the castle Gallina became a student of Václav Jan Kopřiva and after the death of the court music director Jan Josef Janoušek he took over the orchestra. He was awarded the title musicae director and aulae praefectus. Galina had three brothers who were also musicians. He died in Citoliby during the epidemic typhus.
In the archive of the count Jan Josef Pachta, five early classicist symphonies and Aria in D sharp have been preserved. He is also thought to have written an anonymous Aria in C Major from Citoliby choir. Today, his compositions are kept in the National Museum.
