Andrej Borisovič Zubov

Andrej Borisovič Zubov je ruský historik, religionista a politolog. Absolvoval a následně vyučoval na Státním institutu mezinárodních vztahů v Moskvě. Mimo to vedl katedru dějin náboženství na Ruské pravoslavné univerzitě.

Je autorem několika monografií a zhruba 150 vědeckých článků. Převzal po Alexandru Solženicynovi úlohu hlavního redaktora přelomového díla Dějiny Ruska 20. století. Mezi lety 1989 a 2001 působil v Institutu orientálních studií. Do roku 2014 pracoval ve Státním institutu mezinárodních vztahů v Moskvě.

Andrei Borisovich Zubov is a Russian historian, religious studies scholar and political scientist. He graduated from and later taught at the National Institute of International Relations in Moscow. Apart from that he also led the Department of Religious Studies at Russian Orthodox University.

He has written several monographs and approximately 150 research articles. He became the chief editor of the ground-breaking book A History of Twentieth-Century Russia, which was a role he assumed after Alexander Solzhenitsyn. He worked for the Russian Institute of Oriental Studies between 1989 and 2001. Until 2014 he worked at the National Institute of International Relations in Moscow.
