Czech Radio Director General Richard Medek Announced his Resignation

Czech Radio Director General Mr. Richard Medek announced today his resignation to the Czech Radio Council. He will leave his post as of 28 February 2010.
Director General Mr. Medek resigned for health reasons. With respect to Mr. Medek´s personal decision neither Director General nor Czech Radio will further comment on the situation.
The Czech Radio Council appointed Programme Director Mr. Peter Duhan the delegate Director General.
